Each year, since 1919, the United Veterans Council of Santa Clara County has produced a Veterans Day Parade with support from the City of San Jose, Santa Clara County and contributions from many individuals and organizations. This Parade, the largest Veterans Day Parade in Northern California, honors all who served, or are currently serving their country. We will be participating in marching in the parade.
Meet at the Light Rail Station at 10:45. Take train at 11:01 Arrive at san Fernando station at 11:19. Walk to Mustering location. Parade runs from 12:00 am to 2:00pm. Should expect to start marching around 13:00. The request that all are present by noon.
After the parade we will use the light rail to go back to the Winchester station and we can go to lunch at Luigi’s near the Winchester station.
Money for the Light rail and lunch should be brought. $5 for the Light Rail, $7 for Luigi’s.
Kevin will bring a cooler of water bottles.
Need a parent or two to come along so ask your parent.
