Prince of Peace

Social Lock-In Event: Come join for hours of fun and a movie and collapsing together at midnight for some zzz’s. Feel free to bring whatever you like to share in way of games, snacks, drinks. Hot breakfast will be provided.

What: Lock Ins are fun events where scouts come together to play games, enjoy food, watch movies, and stay the night.

Games? Yes, scouts are encouraged to bring video games, board games, and other fun activities to the lock in. We will provide some board games, as well as disinfectant wipes for controllers and game pieces to keep people safe when multiple people use the same thing.
Masks: Masks will be required to be worn at all times inside the church except when sleeping? We will distance the sleeping bags as much as possible.
Food: Scouts should eat dinner before the event, we will provide some snacks, but they will be eaten outside, socially distant, whenever the scout would like to. Scouts are also encouraged to bring their own snacks.

5:40 PM: Me and a small Adult group arrive at Prince of Peace, unlock the church, set up tables, and prepare everything before scouts come.
6PM: Scouts begin to come, this is free time where they are allowed to set up their sleeping bags, and begin playing games.
7:30 PM: We vote on a movie out of a few pre approved options, or play the movie that has already been decided on, on the big screen projector. Kids are also allowed to play games quietly in the back of the church.
9:30 PM (Depends on the length of the movie): Movie concludes, we go back to slightly more quiet free time.
11 PM: Quiet time initiates, scouts are encouraged to go to bed (Although In the past we have let scouts stay up as long as they want)
7 AM: Scouts are woken up, Hall cleanup ensues.
8 AM: pick up.
