Well who doesn’t love the idea of camping next to a river and then hopping in a canoe and spending the day lazily paddling downstream? We’ll break for lunch on a gravel bar and maybe throw the frisbee or have a water fight!
We’ll leave Prince of Peace at 12:00 pm and get to the location at around 2:30 pm to set up camp and relax by the river. We will be car-camping so we don’t need to hike.
There is a fire ring so we’ll have a campfire both nights we’re camping.
There are bathrooms with showers available
Coming home, we’ll leave Burke’s Canoe at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday and arrive home by 1:00 p.m.
Cost of $75 includes camping, canoe rental, and fuel.
Food will be by patrol
All attendees will need to participate in the Swim Test.
