This ceremony is a final tribute to a deceased Arrowman who has served cheerfully to help others, and who, in his daily life, has lived the Scout Oath and Law. It is performed at the wake with the consent of the deceased’s family.
Alan White was an Arrowman of the highest caliber and was someone that could always be counted on to do more than his share.
All those that knew Alan are invited to this ceremony at Camp Chesebrough
On July 22nd, Pioneer District lost one of its amazing scouters. Alan White was a long time Scouting volunteer and a mentor to countless scouts. We are going to honor his legacy this weekend on Saturday, September 7th with a Broken Arrow ceremony performed by the Saklan Lodge ceremonies team.
We would like to invite any and all who knew Alan to join us this weekend; you do not need to be a member of Order of the Arrow to attend.
The ceremony will take place this Saturday, September 7th at Camp Chesebrough. Please arrive by 8:30pm as the ceremony will begin at 9pm. The ceremony will be in the Campfire Bowl, so please remember to bring a jacket and a flashlight with you.
Carpooling is encouraged due to the small parking lot.
